Drytec industrial compressed air line filters

from 0,3 to 44 m³/min
from 0,3 to 44 m³/min
from 0,6 to 90 m³/min
from 41 to 500 m³/min
A line filter helps remove contaminants and moisture from compressed air, ensuring that the air you use is clean and dry. This can have a significant impact on the efficiency and lifespan of your compressed air system, as well as the quality of the products you produce.

In their basic operation, line filters pass compressed air through a filter element that traps particles and moisture. The filter element can be made of various materials, including paper, synthetic fibres or metal mesh. Depending on the level of filtration required, the filter element can be designed to remove particles as small as 5 microns, 1 micron or 0.01 microns.

Line filters can also include features such as drain valves, pressure gauges and automatic condensate release valves. These features help to ensure that the filter performs optimally and can be maintained with minimal effort.

When choosing a trunk filter for your compressed air system, it is important to consider factors such as flow rate, pressure drop and filtration level. You will also need to choose a filter with the right size and connection type for your system.

Overall, a line filter is a simple but effective way to improve the performance and reliability of your compressed air system. By eliminating contaminants and moisture, they can help ensure that your system runs efficiently and your products are of the highest quality. So, if you're looking to optimise your compressed air system, be sure to include line filters in your plan.

Application of Drytec line filters

When operating an oil-filled compressor, whether it is a screw, reciprocating or vane compressor, unwanted impurities inevitably enter the compressed air line - oil is carried away, which in turn becomes contaminated with dust from the ambient air, metal particles, decay products, and condensed moisture. Depending on the requirements for air purity at the consumer's equipment, it is necessary to install filters of various degrees of filtration.

Drytec produces line filters in 4 main stages of purification:

P - pre-filtration: 5 µm - 5 mg/m³
X - coarse filtration: 1 µm or 0.5 mg/m³
Y - fine filtration: 0.01 µm - 0.01 mg/m³
A - removal of oil vapours: 0.01 µm - 0.003 mg/m³

The advantages of Drytec line filters

  • The protected automatic condensate drain is the standard for reliable liquid drainage.
  • The zero-porosity epoxy powder coating is highly durable and, together with the internal corrosion-resistant coating, ensures a long service life.
  • All Drytec line filters are equipped with differential pressure gauges for easy maintenance and greater energy efficiency.
