Application of Drytec adsorption dryers
Compressed air adsorption dehumidifiers are used in cases where deeper dehumidification is required, up to a dew point of -40 or -70 °C. Usually, such requirements are clearly indicated in the technical documentation of the equipment that is a consumer of compressed air.
Also, an adsorption dehumidifier will be necessary if a rather long section of the main runs from the compressor to the consumer through the street and is exposed to sub-zero temperatures in winter. In this case, the adsorption dryer will prevent condensation from freezing.
